Directions and a Map Above: Heveningham Hall as seen from the road (Rod Sugden)
|
Directions Heveningham Hall is mid-way between the villages of Heveningham and Walpole. The villages are well signed, but we will also have our own signs to help you get here safely and quickly. From Halesworth, take the B1117 towards Laxfield and Stradbroke and travel for approximately five miles. You will reach Heveningham Hall shortly after driving through Walpole. You should not enter the village of Heveningham itself. From Saxmundham, we suggest heading north via the A12 until you reach the Yoxford crossroads. Turn left onto the A1120 and continue to Peasenhall. Turn right before leaving the village and take the minor road into Heveningham. When you reach the B1117, turn right. Travel through Heveningham village and you will see the hall after approximately two miles. From Harleston, we recommend taking the B1116 south for six miles to Ashfield Green, where you should turn left onto the B1117. Follow this road through Laxfield and Heveningham, and you will find the Hall after approximately two miles. From Eye or Stradbroke, take the B1117 eastbound through Laxfield and Heveningham. You will find the Hall after approximately two miles.
